In addition to our onsite workshops, PCMC now offers an Introduction to Motivational Interviewing that
is conducted entirely online. This mode of learning

How it works:
This is a self-paced, individual, learning experience
which you complete from the convenience of your
own PC.
The material covered is similar in content to that
which is presented in our face to face workshops
however, for ease of use online, different topics
are segmented into six tutorials. The complete course
takes approximately twelve to sixteen hours to complete, however
it is entirely up to you how you prefer to complete
the course. You can complete one or more tutorials
per week or complete all six tutorials in an intensive
two-day block much as you would when attending a
workshop.
Your trainer will be facilitating your learning
with individual coaching and feedback via e-mail,
therefore there are a maximum number of trainees who
may be completing the online course at any given
time. In order to ensure timely feedback and coaching
of current trainees and ongoing availability for
new trainees, it is a requirement that all six tutorials
are to be completed within 12 weeks of commencing
the course. You pay for the whole course when you
register to commence and you receive a Certificate
of Completion which you can use for claiming Professional
Development points
when you complete all six tutorials.

Who should attend?
The Introduction to Motivational Interviewing e-learning
course is suitable for practitioners from a wide
range of settings including medical, behavioural,
forensic, counselling and mental heath.

Dr Suzanne Habib will provide the online

Fees:
The Introduction to Motivational Interviewing e-learning
course consists of six tutorials + optional review
and feedback of 1 hour tape demonstrating your
skills in MI. The cost of the e-learning course
is AU$350.00 (plus $35.00 GST). Individual tutorials are
not available for purchase.
Course fees include;
- Reading material in pdf format
- Coursework material including text,
worksheets, exercises and quizzes
- A DVD demonstrating the core clinical skills
- Individualised feedback on tutorial exercises by e-mail
- Optional review of one DVD, video or audio tape (up
to 1 hour)
- Comprehensive individualized feedback on your tape by
e-mail
- Access to an online discussion forum
- Certificate of Completion
Additional 1 hr tape reviewed with feedback, extra
A$110.00 (incl. GST) PLUS return packaging and postage.
How to register
Online Registration and
Payment
Please complete our registration form and
fax/post back to PCMC regardless of which payment option you
choose. We offer four forms of payment; Cheque/Money order,
Credit Card, Bank Transfer or Pay Pal. Full details are available
on the Registration Form.
When your payment has been received and processed
you will receive a welcome e-mail and your password
to access the tutorial material. Your demonstration DVD will be mailed
to the address on your registration form. Please allow approximately 10
days for delivery outside Australia. You will be able to begin working on the tutorial material prior to your DVD arriving.
Upon completion of the e-learning course you will
receive a Certificate of Completion from Pacific
Centre for Motivation and Change.
