The Pacific Centre for Motivation &
Change is an organisation committed to providing quality
training in Motivational Interviewing (MI) with offices
located in New Zealand and Australia. PCMC conducts
training throughout the Asia-Pacific region. PCMC
networks with the Centre for Motivation and Change in
Amsterdam, NL, and the International Motivational
Interviewing Network of Trainers (MINT).
Joel Porter and Suzanne Habib have both research and
clinical experience in Motivational Interviewing.
Together they present a range of stimulating and
intensive onsite and online workshops that are suitable
for any practitioner working with clients who experience
ambivalence about changing behaviour.
In addition to conducting their own
training events, PCMC regularly invites distinguished
members of the Motivational Interviewing Network of
Trainers from around the world to Australia and New
Zealand, to provide training in a range of applications
of MI. Trainers include Distinguished Professor William
Miller, Denise Ernst, MA, MS, Terri Moyers, PhD, Allan
Zuckoff, PhD, Linda Sobell, PhD, Allan Marlatt, PhD and
Rik Bes.
