WELCOME
The Pacific Centre for
Motivation & Change Ltd (New Zealand) and Pacific Centre For
Motivation and Change-Australia are two
separate organisations committed to providing quality training in
Motivational Interviewing (MI). PCMC Ltd(New Zealand) and
PCMC-Australia conduct training throughout the Asia-Pacific region.
Both organisations network with the Centre for Motivation and Change in
Amsterdam, NL, and the International Motivational Interviewing Network
of Trainers (MINT).
Joel Porter (PCMC Ltd-New Zealand) and Suzanne Habib (PCMC-Australia) have both research and
clinical experience in Motivational Interviewing. Both organisations present a range of stimulating and
intensive onsite and online workshops that are suitable
for any practitioner working with clients who experience
ambivalence about changing behaviour.
In addition to conducting
training events, PCMC Ltd (New Zealand) regularly invites distinguished
members of the Motivational Interviewing Network of
Trainers from around the world to Australia and New
Zealand, to provide training in a range of applications
of MI. Trainers include Distinguished Professor William
Miller, Denise Ernst, MA, MS, Terri Moyers, PhD, Allan
Zuckoff, PhD, Linda Sobell, PhD, Allan Marlatt, PhD and
Rik Bes.
